Which bird do I hear singing?
Following the Obsidentify app in the Blixemflits of September, we would like to make you enthusiastic about a, again free, app with which you can recognize birds by their singing.
This is a (albeit only English -language) app with which you can recognize a bird via a photo. Also, when you hear a bird whistle, you can absorb the sound and then the app then indicates which bird it is and even then you get information about this bird.
Because it is in English, it is again a great opportunity to practice the language again.
You can also look up Merlin Bird ID in Google for extra information about what is possible.
If you install the app, he asks your email address to use this free app.
Then you will choose a bird package. I started with Europe. Then they will install your package for Europe and you will receive a notification when the package is installed.
It works very well. If you (lots, but also if you only walk a little) it is a very nice app to use on the road. You are therefore much more focused on nature when you walk.
